Every fall, parents of high school 10th graders start trying to decide who to use for SAT Prep.
These days it seems most students want to get help so that they can get the best score possible. Some kids want to be done with testing by the end of their junior year because the summer between 11th and 12th grade is when colleges start accepting applications. This means starting to test early in case you need to retake the test several times.
Testmasters has been around since 1991 and is Houston’s largest and most popular SAT prep program. They also help students prepare for the ACT. This year, Testmasters will hold a mini version of the company’s SAT course at Club Sienna on November 13 & 14 from 2-5 p.m. This is ideal for students to get an introduction to the test. The cost is $216.00 for residents and there will be a total of 40 spaces available. You can learn more at
