Sienna Math

I'll just admit it- I hate math.   This goes back to my freshman year of high school in Louisiana and my 70 year old Algebra I teacher who was hard of hearing.  She was a very smart woman with no patience for a girl who doesn't like numbers.  I can still hear her yelling at me while I was trying to answer her question when she called on me.   Flash forward to 2016 and here I was with an 8th grader taking Algebra I at Baines who needed help... "Your Dad's out of town but text him" I found myself saying quite often.   Lots of my friends hired tutors for their 8th or 9th graders.  My husband would say "Don't pay anyone to help them when I can do it" and he did often help my youngest but I was zero help.  I guess  I could have googled it and figured some of it out, I just had no desire (due to the PTSD my former teacher caused I'm sure).   I recently heard about Amber Muscarello and Sienna Math.  I have a neighbor who is very happy to have found her.  I looked her up and read she tutors during the school year from 4pm-9pm.  She taught math in FBISD for 10 years and can help your child with Algebra I and Geometry.  You can reach her by calling or texting (281) 841-0303.
