Heritage Rose to Round Up Fun May 21
May 20, 2016

Heritage Rose Elementary teachers and students are headed to school this weekend not to crack open books, but instead to enjoy a bevy of food and fun.

The Mustang Round-Up, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, invites students, parents, teachers and the public to enjoy family fun activities such as inflatables and carnival games. The adventurous can ride a mechanical bull or test their skills on the obstacle course. Food trucks R&R Bar-B-Que, Big Mammas Cooking on Wheels and Kona Ice will have a variety of food available to purchase. The Fresno Fire Department also is expected to make a special presentation.

“We love having events that bring the entire family out to see the school and the students’ accomplishments, all while enjoying the community spirit we have fostered,” said Lavanta Williams, school principal. “A special thanks to Sienna Plantation and our PTO for making Mustang Round-Up possible.”

Money raised during the Mustang Round-Up will support field trips, school materials and educational programs.
