MISSOURI CITY, TX (January 13, 2014) – The Johnson Development Corp. has purchased
additional land adjacent to Sienna Plantation in Fort Bend County for a new neighborhood of
luxury waterfront homes from Taylor Morrison available in the spring of 2015.
The new community will be located near the intersection of Sienna Parkway and the Fort Bend
Parkway Toll Road for easy access to the toll road and U.S. 90A, just minutes from downtown
Houston and the Texas Medical Center.
The property was acquired just as Sienna Plantation’s final neighborhoods were completed
thereby providing an additional opportunity for families once considering a new home in the
award-winning master-planned community.
“We secured this property just as we completed the last of Sienna Plantation’s existing
neighborhoods, so the timing could not have been better,” says Doug Goff, chief operating
officer of The Johnson Development Corp.
Another 30 acres at State Highway 6 and Lake Olympia Parkway will be incorporated into the
master-planned community of Riverstone for luxury garden patio homes.
A final 30 acres in the newly acquired property on the corner of Sienna Parkway and McKeever
Road will be set aside for longer-term commercial development, Goff adds.
