Sienna Residents Anticipate
Exciting Summer Road Trips
(Missouri City, TX – May 14, 2008) Sienna residents young and old are hitting the road this summer for some association-sponsored day trips.
Ages 10 to 15 will head to Schlitterbahn in Galveston, Friday, June 20, for a day of fun in the sun, leaving Club Sienna at 9 a.m. and returning at 7:30 p.m. Adult chaperones will be on hand to supervise the kids as they enjoy an array of slides, endless rivers, uphill water coasters and other Schlitterbahn excitement.
The next day, Sienna adults are off to the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, La., for a day of camaraderie and fun. Snacks will be provided on the bus, which leaves at 8 a.m. and returns before midnight.
The two road trips are sponsored by the Sienna Plantation Residential Association, which hosts a wide variety of community events, including concerts, parties, classes and more.
An amenity-packed Houston master-planned community, Sienna has more than 2,000 acres dedicated to park lands, golf courses, recreation areas, lakes, greenbelts and nature reserves.
Central to Sienna’s recreational landscape is the 12-acre Club Sienna, featuring a Houston water park, a community center, a lakeside amphitheater, eight lighted tennis courts and a half-acre playground.
Camp Sienna, a 160-acre sports park, has four lighted baseball fields, including a dedicated T-ball field, a larger baseball field for players ages 13 and up, three softball fields, seven soccer fields and a concession stand/restroom complex. A multi-use field serves as a practice site for the Sienna Stallions football program. The sports park hosts hundreds of young Sienna residents each baseball and soccer season.

Opening this summer is Sienna Springs Resort Center, the Houston master-planned community’s third amenity center and fourth pool , which will offer a free-flowing pool complex that complements Sienna’s other lavish water and recreational amenities.
