If your sports-minded kids are ready to get physical, Sienna Plantation is ready to help with July sports camps to develop their skills and keep them active.
Sienna Volleyball Camp
Girls entering fourth through eighth grades will net increased volleyball skills with two hours per day practicing passing, setting, hitting and serving. Two sessions are offered at Sienna Lutheran Academy, 770 Waters Lake Blvd. Session 1 runs July 10-13. Fourth- through sixth- grade girls play from 8-10 a.m. and seventh- and eighth-grade girls play from 10 a.m. to noon. Session 2 runs July 24-27. The cost is $102 per person, per session.
Sienna Elite Basketball Camp
Boys and girls will gain a deeper understanding of the game and work to become the best players they can be. The week-long camp takes place at the Sienna Lutheran Academy gym from July 17-20. Kids entering the third through sixth grades practice from 8-10 a.m. Kids entering the seventh and eighth grades will practice from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost is $114.
Fitness and Fun Camps
Camps will get kids moving with daily drills focused on agility, coordination and balance. The final 30-45 minutes of each day will be devoted to organized sports activities such as basketball and indoor baseball. Camps are for boys and girls entering grades three through eight. Four weeklong sessions will take place from July 10-Aug. 3 at Camp Sienna, 9600 Scanlan Trace. Camps will take place 9-11:30 a.m. The cost is $102.
Camp Nice Strength and Conditioning Summer Camps
Children can challenge themselves during strength and conditioning sessions designed for grades three through eight. Each day will focus on a different aspect of fitness and endurance through agility training, bodyweight exercise and other physical activities. Choose one or all of the four sessions offered from July 10-Aug. 3. Sessions take place at Camp Sienna from 9-11:30 a.m. The cost is $102.
