Spice up your holiday shopping with the eclectic array of fun and unique gifts to be found at Sienna Plantation’s Gingerbread Market 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday Oct. 15.
Shoppers will be able to get a jump on their seasonal celebrations and support local artisans during the Fort Bend community’s annual tradition, which features 35 vendors showcasing custom jewelry, clothing, home décor and holiday finery at Club Sienna, 9600 Scanlan Trace.
Among the vendors available to help deck the halls will be Liz Silk Creations with wreaths and centerpieces, handmade home décor from Personal Creations by Emily and Tutti Bello, which offers home décor, garden and floral items. Shoppers looking for unique gifts for teachers, co-workers and business associates may find what they seek in the form of high quality bath and beauty products from Sugar Land’s own 4 Generations. Ooh Lala Baby Couture returns with adorable children’s clothing.
Even Fido can be checked off of the gift-giving list with gourmet delights from 4 Paws Gourmet Dog Treats. The local dog bakery makes everything from pup tarts to pumpkin cakes and even carries a line of gluten free items.
Sweet treats for tired shoppers also will be available at the Mary Had a Little Party Treat Trailer, where a successful shopping trip can be capped off with hand-dipped ice cream, old fashioned soda fountain treats and banana splits.
Admission is free and open to the public, but market-goers are asked to help make everyone’s holidays a little brighter by bringing one unopened, non-perishable food item for the Food Pantry at Sacred Heart in Manvel.
Sienna Plantation hosts a variety of resident-only events throughout the year, as well as periodic markets, classes and festivals open to the public.
