Area residents will have a chance to upgrade their holiday décor and support a worthy cause during a raffle happening in Sienna Plantation and benefiting Child Advocates of Fort Bend.
Sixteen decorators have donated 17 lavishly decorated wreaths and swags that are on display now in the Sienna Homefinder Center, 5777 Sienna Parkway. The items also will be on display in all of Sienna's model homes during Frost Fest, a Dec. 5 and 6 event featuring 30,000 pounds of snow and an ice rink. Frost Fest is open to the public.
Raffle tickets are one for $10, three for $25 and five for $40, and purchasers can select their preferred wreath on each ticket. Sales will continue until noon Tuesday, Dec. 15.
In addition to the Sienna Homefinder Center, raffle tickets also will be available during the CASA Christmas Home Tour, Dec. 11 and 12. Two homes in Sienna Plantation are featured on the tour.
“We raffled five wreaths during last year’s Christmas Home Tour and raised $1,500,” said Lisa Moore, Child Advocates of Fort Bend Events Specialist. “Through the generosity of our decorators, we expect to raise much more this year for children in Fort Bend needing help.”
This year’s list of decorators includes: Annie Sumang Designs with Creative Branch, Charlotte’s Web Design, CRU Home, Dian Savage, Fallon’s Decorating Services, Fancy Schmancy Décor, Farmhouse Designs, Judith Maddison, Jan’s Jewels, Jodie Clark Griffin, Lin Wooten, Maria Rivas, Jennifer Lloyd with Michael’s Arts & Crafts (Rosenberg), Renae Melchor with R DeZigns, Twenty-Two Fifth Interiors and Susie Goff.
Child Advocates of Fort Bend provides a voice for abused and neglected children through therapy, mentorship and advocacy. Now in its 24th year, the CASA Christmas Home Tour is one of the organization’s largest fundraisers.
