Sienna is full of families with babies and young kids. Drive down the streets and you’ll see strollers and neighborhood parks full of toddlers. Lots of young parents who live here are from out of state and do not have relatives close by, so babysitters are in high demand.
Another thing Sienna is full of is teenagers — we have a high school with 3,200 students enrolled. Weekly, I read Facebook posts on the neighborhood pages of people looking for a sitter. Several of the teens that I know who babysit are infant/child CPR certified. This gives parents more peace of mind and makes those young adults more in demand. American Red Cross babysitting childcare courses are offered for those who want to have this training and certification. Anyone 11-15 years old can register for an upcoming class at Club Sienna on October 24. The cost is $110, and registration is required. You can register at .
