It’s so great to be able to read good news on the COVID subject. I know we are all more than ready for some encouraging data.
The vaccine is now available to teenagers 16 years of age and older. Our doctor told us this week that they will soon lower that number to age 12. He also informed us that they believe most of the residents of Fort Bend who want to get the vaccine have done so. That is great news considering one month ago it seems we all knew of someone who wanted it and was waiting or a spot to become available to them. I know my sister, who is high risk, drove an hour away to get hers about 30 days ago.
Fort Bend County Health and Human Services will be administering the vaccine to teens on Fridays from 3 to 6 pm and on Saturdays from 10am to 6 pm at Katy Mills Mall (5000 Katy Mills Circle in Katy) and at HCC Missouri City (1600 Texas Parkway in Missouri City). You can get more information on that at
