Every Thursday is called Thirsty Thursdays at Nobie's in Houston. Nobies is at 2048 Colquitt Street in an old house and the food is amazing. It is not a bad drive from Sienna on the Fort Bend Tollroad (I can say that about so many great places in Houston!) They have a very nice wine selection and every Thursday they have a good portion of the wine list for half price. They do not take reservations and on a Thursday, you can expect somewhat of a wait. We arrived at 6:30 and weren't seated until 7:15, but we did find seats at the bar and were very comfortable while we waited. Full disclosure here: the parking is not good. Like lots of places in Houston, it's a pain but unlike most places, they do not have valet. We just had Restaurant Week in Houston and that is always a great time to check out places you haven't been. It was during last years Restaurant week that I discovered Nobie's. If you go, I suggest ordering the Dilly bread and the Olive Oil cake too! Olive Oil cake sounded so strange to me, but I promise you it is GREAT.
