You'll find the best prices on outdoor furniture in August & September. Every Spring I get all these outdoor catalogs in the mail that make me want to buy new pillows, loungers and planters for my backyard but those same items go on sale 4 months later. If you are in the market, check out these online sites- Wayfair.com, Overstock.com, Jossandmain.com and Costco.com Last summer I found that when I went into Costco to look in person, most of the outdoor furniture was gone- but it is still available online. If you want to go see it in person and actually sit on it, consider visiting the Chair King showroom over in the Fountains in Stafford. They too have some good sales going on. About five years ago I found the outdoor seating I wanted at Frontgate.com but just could not spend what they were asking. I kept searching online and in early September a set that looked exactly like the one I had bookmarked on Overstock.com for $1,700 less! The only downside was it did not come with a warranty, but I was told if I inspected it upon arrival and saw anything I did not like, I could refuse the delivery and be refunded. I still have that furniture today and it still looks good. It's funny that this stuff goes on sale before we really need it down here- my favoirte time to sit in my backyard starts around October since our winters are so mild.
