Go Gold

September 11, 2019

If you've driven past the Homefinder Visitors Center or one of our elementary schools this week, you may have seen the gold ribbon yard signs.     September is Childhood Cancer Awareness month and lots of Sienna residents are eager to get the word out.  One of our very own residents started a non profit called A Shelter for Cancer Families (ASCF).  ASCF currently has  a campagin called "Gold Rush" and its purpose is to raise awareness and show support for all affected by childhood cancer.  Johnson Development, as well as some local businesses are coming together to show support of this very worthy cause.  You can "Gold Rush" a neighbors yard by making a donation to ASCF and requesting these gold ribbon signs be set up in their front yard.  They can in turn make a donation themselves, and request the signs be set up in another yard.  If you would like to know more about how ASCF is helping families face their fight,  to Gold Rush a yard or to make a general donation,  please visit www.cancerfamilies.org
