John Burns Real Estate Consulting — known for its annual lists of the top-selling master-planned communities (MPCs) in the nation — just released a new report on what it’s calling the MPC Longstanding Titans. Sienna is one of them.
The article tracks 16 years of reporting the nation’s best-selling communities. During that time, only 11 communities across the U.S. earned a spot on John Burns’ top-selling lists 10 or more times and are still ranked as a top-selling community for 2025. Sienna, which the company currently ranks No. 35 in the nation, is one of just four communities to appear on the list each year and the only one in Texas, according to the report.
Sienna takes the idea of living well to an entirely new level with an active resident calendar that boasts events for all ages, with seasonal celebrations such as May’s Fiesta de Mayo, barbecue cook-offs, Kid Fish, outdoor concerts, toddler play days, teen study nights, and an active adult Butterfly Garden Tea Party. Food Truck Nights at the Sawmill Lake Pavilion take care of dinner Mondays and Tuesdays, while giving neighbors a chance to connect.
Sporty residents can participate in various adult leagues, including tennis and pickleball, while younger athletes can practice and play soccer, baseball, softball, and other sports at Camp Sienna. Those who want to remain active minus the competition can join a variety of group exercise classes.
Sienna’s lifestyle program even includes adaptive classes and events for residents with special needs or limited mobility, such as a Superhero event for youth ages 6 to 15 that was held April 21.
Just about every home in Sienna is a short walk or bike ride to a park or green space, and there are so many parks in Sienna you could visit a different one each day for over a month without repeating one. Many of the parks have playground equipment for a variety of ages, while others encourage you to sit down, relax, and enjoy the natural landscape.
Sienna’s five water parks and pools are where you’ll find residents eager to embrace summer’s chill vibe. One more pool will open soon at Sienna’s newest amenity complex, Sienna Oaks.
Sienna’s amenity list doesn’t stop with pools and parks, however. Residents enjoy access to two fitness centers, can swing a racquet at the pickleball and tennis courts, and can tee off at Sienna Golf Club. The 160-acre Camp Sienna offers more opportunities to play sports with baseball fields, soccer fields, basketball, and sand volleyball. Winding through Sienna are miles of paved and nature trails, making it easy for kids to walk or bike to the community’s eight on-site schools.
Sienna is more than a master-planned community — it’s a hometown, with onsite schools, churches, medical offices, restaurants, and grocery stores. These places not only make it easy to pick up diapers or skip dinner chores and eat out. They are places people work and gather, further deepening our sense of community. You just might have to add a few more minutes to your grocery run, however, because you’re likely to see neighbors!
