Oh Baby! There Are So Many Things to Do in Sienna!

July 15, 2025

The preschool set will find plenty to do when their parents choose Sienna as their home. From tot-sized pool features to the much-anticipated annual Sienna Toddler Fair, Sienna youngsters have lots to keep them entertained, engaged, and happy. Parents — keep the camera app open because there’s always another adorable photo to take. Let’s look at the Sienna lifestyle from a toddler’s point-of-view.

We’re Big On Pools for the Littles

A day at the pool isn’t just for the older kids — our youngest swimmers are often introduced to pool fun at the Club Sienna water park. Even though it’s known for its Big Bucket play structure and water slides, the Club Sienna pool also features a zero-entry lagoon where babies can sit in the water and splash. But that’s not the only Sienna pool designed for children. The Steep Bank Pool — Sienna’s first — is only 3 feet at its deepest and much of the pool is only 18 inches. The Brushy Lake Pool has a tot-sized slide and play structure along with gently spraying water features and shallow depths. For those who aren’t quite brave enough to get into the water, there’s the splash pad at Sienna’s Sawmill Lake Club.

Parks-apoolooza!

Sienna’s many parks promise year-round fun, and longtime Sienna residents have seen their children grow up on the numerous neighborhood playgrounds that cater to varying ages. Many youthful playground adventures start at Heritage Park and Heritage Grove Park, which both boast house-shaped play structures meant to spark the imagination. Sienna Grove Park features a web swing, and many parks have smaller slides, baby swings and interactive features designed for small children. Oftentimes, parents strike up conversations as they watch their young children play, and mommy and me playgroups help new residents meet others with similarly aged children.

Pint-sized Party Time

Spring is always a party in Sienna thanks to the Sienna Toddler Fair, a 17-year tradition filled with rides, sing-a-longs and other activities geared to children ages 2 to 8. It’s not the only event that will have your little one cheering, however. The Splash Mob coming this August will have toddler-friendly slides, a soft play zone and whimsical bubble house at the Sawmill Lake Splash Pad. The Tiny Tyke Techno is an afternoon dance party for those ages 2 to 7. Sawmill Lake Club also frequently hosts Pajama Party story times and just down the road is the Sienna branch of the Fort Bend Library System, which also hosts weekly story times for infants and preschoolers.
