Johnson Development Names Fort Bend Custom Home Team

(Houston, TX – June 3, 2009)   Custom home buyers can now shop Fort Bend’s two top-selling communities with ease, as The Johnson Development Corp. has merged its custom sales teams from Sienna Plantation and Riverstone.

The trio of industry veterans — Jack MacDonald, Paula Moss and Nancy Simmons — will show custom homes and properties in both communities, working with buyers, Realtors and builders.

“Both custom home buyers and Realtors save time by working with a sales professional who can help them with just the right homes or homesites in the two best-selling communities in Fort Bend,” MacDonald said. “Sienna and Riverstone are recognized as the premier custom home neighborhoods in Fort Bend, providing gated enclaves, waterfront and water views, wooded properties and more.”

Buyers also can take comfort in the expertise of the three sales professionals, all licensed Realtors who have been lauded numerous times for their professionalism.

MacDonald has earned “Custom Sales Person of the Year” honors during the Greater Houston Builders Association’s PRISM awards and through the statewide National Sales and Marketing Council competition. He has more than 30 years of custom home experience, primarily in Fort Bend.

A long-time Fort Bend resident, Moss has 15 years of experience in home sales. She has been awarded a Graduate Realtors Institute (GRI) designation by the National Association of Realtors and has won several awards for her performance, including being listed as one of Houston’s top five new-home sales associates in 2003 by the GHBA. The previous year, Moss won a prestigious Star award from the Texas Association of Builders. In February, she was recognized as the top salesperson by the Sales and Marketing Council of the Greater Houston Builders Association.

Simmons has nine years of custom home experience, selling exclusively in Sienna. She has been awarded a Certified New Home Sales Professional (CSP) designation by the National Association of Home Builders, is a member of the Million Dollar Guild of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing and was honored as top salesperson in March by the Sales and Marketing Council of the GHBA.

Sienna Plantation boasts five active custom neighborhoods — Kennet Hill, Commander’s Point, The Sanctuary, The Forest and The Legends — offering a mix of gated enclaves, acreage homesites, golf course properties and more. Prices range from the $500,000s to the millions.

Nearby Riverstone has two custom home neighborhoods — Crescent View Estates and Hartford Landing — both bordering the 110-acre Lake Riverstone. Homes in Crescent View Estates are priced up to $3 million, while properties in Hartford Landing are priced up to $2 million.
