The community that offers residents MORE — more amenities, more on-site schools, more home choices, more fun — just got one more accolade: Sienna Plantation is Houston’s top-selling master-planned community.
Sienna Plantation is the top-ranked Houston community (and No. 2 in Texas) on a mid-year report released recently by Robert Charles Lesser & Co. (RCLCO). The annual report, based on new-home sales from January through June 2018, shows Sienna with 292 sales during the report timeframe, a year-over-year increase of 41 percent from last year’s 207 sales.
Nationally, Sienna came in at No. 15.
What is driving sales in Sienna? It could be the opening of Leonetti Elementary in 2017 and the soon-to-open Thornton Middle School that will welcome its first students next month. Perhaps it’s Sienna’s expansive and still-growing list of amenities, which includes Sawmill Lake Club, a clubhouse and pool complex that opened last year. Location often ranks high when it comes to deciding where to live, and Sienna has a prime location along Highway 6 in Fort Bend County with immediate access to the Fort Bend Parkway and a soon-to-open entrance along FM 521.
We like to believe it’s all of these things and more that draws people to Sienna Plantation, where builders have been selling homes for more than 20 years and residents often opt to stay within the community when purchasing their next home rather than leave. And when our residents do go to sell their homes, they find living in Houston’s top-selling community gives them one more thing — better resale value.
Behind the success of Sienna Plantation is Johnson Development, which had six communities on the RCLCO ranking — more than any other developer in the nation.
