Save on Closing Costs and More with June Builder Incentives

Homebuyers will have more cash in their pockets this summer with builder incentives that lower closing costs, offer savings on structural and design center options and provide smart home technology.

Closing costs are due when the final paperwork is signed, but Highland Homes and Darling Homes will contribute thousands toward the fees when buyers use their approved lenders. Darling is offering qualified buyers up to $8,000 toward closing costs, while Highland will pay up to $13,000. Both offers are good through June 30.

Newmark Homes and CalAtlantic Homes are offering closing costs plus design center savings, allowing buyers to upgrade their homes while lowering their out-of-pocket expenses. CalAtlantic will pay up to $5,000 in closing costs when buyers use CalAtlantic Mortgage, as well as $20,000 toward options and upgrades on to-be-built homes.

Newmark is offering an entire menu of inducements, including upgraded cabinets, a Frigidaire professional appliance package and hardwood floors, as well as an additional $5,000 to use at the design center. Buyers utilizing one of Newmark’s approved lenders benefit even more, with an owner’s title policy in the amount of the loan and $2,500 toward closing costs.

Meritage Homes’ “Major Upgrade” sales event allows buyers to step up from standard features with half off design center options such as upgraded countertops, flooring and lighting.

Homebuyers can even save on smart home technology with a Taylor Morrison promotion offering an Interactive 2.0 integrated system that controls lighting, security, temperature and entertainment from apps that work on iPhone and Android devices. The package is free with the purchase of a Taylor Morrison to-be-built home until June 30.

Buyers hoping to move quickly will be interested in incentives offered by Shea Homes and Trendmaker Homes. Shea is offering $15,000 off the price of its showcase inventory homes in Sienna’s Village of Sawmill Lake. Purchasers of Trendmaker’s quick move-in homes will receive a 4.5 percent incentive towards builder options. Both offers end June 30.

Estate homebuyers can save as well, with an incentive from Toll Brothers for homes built in two Sawmill Lake neighborhoods, The Plaza and Fox Bend.
