Houston’s Largest Home Tour is back, and Sienna Plantation is celebrating community life with a series of fun, family-friendly events throughout April.
Sponsored by Johnson Development Corp., Sienna Plantation’s developer, the month-long festivities offer the public an opportunity to tour hundreds of homes — including 120 models — throughout 11 of Johnson’s communities and can learn more of three new Johnson Development communities underway. In addition, visitors will be able to experience the unique lifestyle residents enjoy through free events planned by the communities’ dedicated lifestyle directors.
Eighteen model homes will be open for touring in Sienna Plantation, which also offers several water parks and five on-site Fort Bend schools. The well-appointed homes will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 6 p.m. Sundays. A map of the models can be obtained at Sienna Plantation’s Homefinder Center, 5777 Sienna Parkway. While there, visitors also can pick up a free ice cream treat every day throughout April.
On April 16, humans and their four-legged family members can experience the Sienna lifestyle during a Canine Carnival. The pooch party takes place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Sienna’s Village of Sawmill Lake, 9815 Cameron Way, and will feature entertainment, carnival rides and games, inflatables, performances by high-flying dogs and a chance to take home a friend for life through on-site pet adoptions.
Runners and race enthusiasts will converge on Sienna April 24 for the Texas Sienna 10. The third in the Texas 10 Series and Armadillo Cup series of races begins at 7:30 a.m. Participants can choose a 10-mile, five-mile or kids’ one-mile race and accrue points toward cash prizes in the Armadillo Cup, which awards top point earners in an array of male and female age categories. More than 700 racers have signed up but there are still a few spots left. Register at https://events.com/r/en_US/registration/sienna-10---texas-10-series-sienna-plantation-april-7573.
