Hermann Park Gets Even Better
June 10, 2022

Through a public and private partnership with the Houston Parks & Recreation Department, the Hermann Park Conservatory has raised more than $122 million for improvements to Hermann Park. There will be 2,000 new trees planted, 20 miles of new and improved trails, new bike paths, new picnic areas and 26 new access points. This 26-acre addition will finally connect the zoo, Medical Center, Rice University, and the Museum District. This park is already beautiful and one millions of people enjoy visiting each year. I cannot wait to see the end result of this expansion.
