Almeta Crawford High School

The 12th high school to be built within Fort Bend ISD will be named Almeta Crawford High School.  

Ms. Crawford is known to be a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, in addition to being a legendary educator who served the district for 49 years. She was named Teacher of the Year and inspired many students to become educators. She was also a Diamond-Level Abydos Literacy Learning trainer and is well respected thought the state. Many residents of Fort Bend County are excited to have this new campus named after a woman who made such a contribution to the community.

High School #12 is projected to open in the fall of 2023 and is located on the southeast side of the District on FM 521 near Sienna Parkway.
