Troy Nehls has served in Fort Bend County law enforcement for more than 25 years. He became our Sheriff in 2013 and has been responsible for 826 staff members and had a budget of $79 million. Under his leadership, burglaries went down 60 percent and robberies are down 31 percent per 100,000 residents. Prior to becoming a Constable for Precinct 4, he served in the U.S. Army and remained in the Army reserve for 21 years. He claims if elected he will work to deliver increased economic opportunity and jobs, improved access to healthcare and work for criminal justice reform.
