One of my very favorite places to vacation is Cabo, so when I saw a sign on Highway 6 that said “Cabo Dogs Lounge and Grill,” I was intrigued and looked them up when I got home. The owners grew up vacationing in Cabo and actually had a second home there. They are a full-service restaurant and bar featuring Baja Mediterranean and Tex-Mex food. They’ve hired a mixologist and made sure to have a good wine and beer selection. Another plus to me was the mention of desserts (tres leeches and lava cake!). The dog part of the name is because the patio is dog-friendly and they’ll have all-natural treats from Texas Dog Treats for your fur babies. The article I read also said they’ve partnered with Sugar Land Shuttle Service to provide safe rides home for $5 for those that live within a five-mile radius. This sounds like it could become a super fun hangout close to home. The address is 7022 Highway 6 and according to their Facebook page they are now open. I hope to get there very soon.
